Soon after he retired, Aldous checked himself in to the fictional Villains’ Anonymous rehab program in order to better himself. When he finds out that he in fact answered Stephen’s ad for a new roommate and is now rooming with his former nemesis, Aldous convinces Stephen to let him stay, but never fails to have a smart remark when Stephen falls short on things. Ellen Echo is a self-confident, beautiful retired superheroine that went by the name The Siren. In the film she is in the middle of finalizing her divorce from Stephen and becoming independent. While Stephen is hesitant to grant Ellen the divorce, he still does so, and with her newfound freedom, she becomes a supervillain named Reverb in order to obtain the attention and recognition she felt she never got due to Stephen’s arrogance he displayed when they were a married crime-fighting duo. Her superpower is a piercing echo that she transmits vocally. Red hair preferred.
